Stabilising nicely, the 2014 only has a hint of garnet to the deep, gorgeously mature colour. A comforting, rich nose wraps stewed dark fruit and leather over roasted hazelnut and petrichor. The palate is a seamless harmony of refined and mature tannins, offering some earthy dryness, but mostly simply gliding down. Caponata and dark chocolate in the tail. Fully mature. Perfect for enjoying now, but no real haste is required.
