A full-bodied, barrel-aged Bordeaux-styled white blend comprising of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon shows off its cool climate origins with fynbos, lime skin and kelp, while now also developing strong lanolin and buttery character in the bottle. This has palate richness from oak and lees influence, yet entirely bone dry and saline on the finish. Best to drink in the near future while still showing off some varietal freshness.
