A serious wine for the price, the 2020 is still mellowing with serious structure and savoury tannins to unpack. Dark cocoa over mint, plums, dried currants and alluring notes of flint. Firm acidity and tannins are tamed by a lick of vanilla from oak maturation, supporting promising layers of fleshy fruit. Typically dry in the tail, requiring food or even more cellaring to shine.
